You may not know our names or who we are, but we know you. You are the brave ones who risk your life daily for our freedom, for our safety. You keep hope alive and help keep us safe to accomplish our dreams, ambitions and goals. Because of you we wake every morning safe, happy and ready to face a new day. You put your life on the line for those you love and complete strangers so that we may know freedom to walk down the street, so that we may have the option to do as we wish each day with no worries of the oppressions other countries feel. My dear soldiers please know that we understand what you sacrifice everyday for us and that our love and prayers are with you. We have not forgotten you and on your loneliest days we think of you, pray for you, and thank god that you have chosen the path that you did. Be proud of who you are and what you stand for and be aware that we are proud of you. It takes special people to do what you do, you are a shining example for all on morality, sacrifice, love, and dedication. I honor you this Independence day knowing full well its you and people like you in the past that have made our freedom possible and why we celebrate this special day.
